From Rihanna to Paris Hilton, All These Stars Welcomed Babies This Year

More than a few stars have had milestones in 2023 by expanding their families. While several stars have recently revealed that they're expecting (like Kourtney Kardashian and Uzo Aduba), many other celebrities have already welcomed their little ones into the world.

Both Paris Hilton and Shemar Moore officially became parents in January, welcoming a baby boy and a baby girl, respectively, with their significant others. Meanwhile, Chrissy Teigen gave birth to another baby girl with husband John Legend on Jan. 13 — and then went on to welcome a baby boy via surrogate in June. The two tiny tots join the couple's two kids, Luna and Miles Stephens. Since then, Serena Williams and Rihanna have also expanded their families.

Of course, the year isn't over yet! As we await the arrival of more celebrity babies, keep reading to meet the ones who've already made their debut.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend expanded their family on Jan. 13 when their daughter, Esti Maxine Stephens, arrived into the world. The Cravings founder announced the newborn's arrival on Instagram with a photo featuring their daughter, Luna Simone Stephens, and son Miles Theodore Stephens holding their baby sister. "She's here! Esti Maxine Stephens - the house is bustling and our family could not be happier 💕," Teigen wrote. "Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love, and I am learning you still need diapers with a c section!? We are in bliss. Thank you for all the love and well wishes - we feel it all! X."

Legend expressed similar sentiments in his Instagram announcement, writing, "On Friday, we welcomed Esti Maxine Stephens to our family, and our house is overflowing with love and joy. I'm in awe of Chrissy's strength and resilience and I'm so thrilled to see how Luna and Miles embrace their baby sister. I'm so, so grateful, but that doesn't seem like a big enough word."

Paris Hilton officially became a mom in January when she and husband Carter Reum welcomed their first child, a baby boy, via surrogate. Hilton gave the world a first look at her son when she shared a photo of her holding her baby's hand in her Instagram announcement. The heiress captioned it, "You are already loved beyond words 💙."

"It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other," Hilton told People exclusively. "We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy."

In an Instagram post on Feb. 22, Hilton shared an Instagram post with her son's name — Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum. The following day, the heiress revealed the first family photos with Phoenix. "Our whole entire world," she wrote on Instagram.

On Jan. 30, news broke that Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo welcomed their third child. Reps for both stars did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR's requests for comment. Prinsloo went on to share the first snaps of her newborn in March.


Frankie Moore

Shemar became a dad in January when he and girlfriend Jesiree Dizon welcomed a baby girl named Frankie Moore together. "Ya boy is officially a Dad!!! Dreams come true!! The rest of my life is here! ❤️🙏🏽🙌🏽," the actor excitedly announced on Instagram on Jan. 24. Shemar and Dizon's daughter joins the model's two kids, daughter Charli with actor Stephen Bishop and son Kaiden from a previous relationship.

On April 9, model Daisy Lowe and her fiancé, Jordan Saul, announced the arrival of their first child, daughter Ivy Love Saul. The couple shared a sweet snap of their little one on Instagram, alongside a caption about how excited they are that their daughter is finally here. "Our Easter egg finally hatched!" Lowe wrote. "Ivy Love Saul you have made all my dreams come true- our dream girl 💘 I have never known happiness or love like this. I can't stop crying tears of joy."


Dylan Rose Lawrence

Joey Lawrence and wife Samantha Cope welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Dylan Rose Lawrence, on Jan. 16. The couple shared the happy news on Instagram with a joint statement, writing, "Mom, Dad and big sisters are all so smitten with you sweet girl! we welcomed her into this world with the most amazing midwife, everyone is happy and healthy and we are overjoyed with gratitude 🙏🏼🤍 wow what a beautiful journey. thank you for all your continued love surrounding this beautiful new life! stay tuned for baby spam xoxo."

Dylan is Joey's third child as he's already a dad to daughters Charleston and Liberty, whom he shares with ex-wife Chandie Lawrence.

On Feb. 11, "Younger" star Molly Bernard shared that she and her wife, Hannah Lieberman, welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on Jan. 28. Bernard announced the news on her Instagram. "Thrilled to share that @liebhan and I welcomed our healthy, gentle and sassy baby girl on Saturday, January 28 at 11:11pm!" she wrote. "We are overjoyed and more in love than we ever imagined. It's been a gorgeous two week whirlwind adjusting to parenthood and it's the coolest club we've ever been in. Yesterday in a 60 second span Hannah was peed on during a diaper change and I picked bb up to help and was immediately met with projectile poop. My nips are sore, oxytocin is high — MOMS RULE. Keyshia Ka'oir Davis gave birth to her second child with husband Gucci Mane on Feb. 8. The rapper announced the exciting news on Instagram, writing, "Im so thankful that my baby girl is here and she so pretty and healthy 2/8/23 7lbs 2oz ICELAND DAVIS ❤️❤️ #Daddyprincess 👑." Baby Iceland joins the couple's son Ice, as well as the couple's other children from previous relationships.

On Feb. 12, Blake Lively seemingly confirmed that she'd welcomed her fourth child with Ryan Reynolds when she shared a Super Bowl Sunday Instagram slideshow. In one of the photos, Lively was noticeably sans bump. "Puppy Bowl Sunday 2023🥘 🍲 🥧 been busy," Lively captioned the album. No other details about the newborn have been revealed yet.


Tristan Jay El Moussa

Heather and Tarek El Moussa welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, on Jan. 31. The couple shared the news on Instagram in a joint post, writing, "Our baby boy is here 🤍 1.31.23. Mama & baby are happy, healthy, tired but doing well. Our hearts are so happy ❤️." The tiny tot joins Tarek's two other kids, Taylor and Brayden El Moussa, from his previous marriage to Christina Anstead.

On Feb. 15, the couple revealed they named their baby Tristan Jay El Moussa. "We'd like to introduce Tristan Jay El Moussa to the world 🤍 6:55am 1-31-23 7lbs 7oz," they wrote in a joint Instagram post. "Tristan was the name that Tarek was supposed to have, Jay is my dads middle name & 4 generations of Jay."


Kyro Aumua Te'o

Manti Te'o and his wife, Jovi Nicole Te'o, became a family of four with the arrival of their second child, a son named Kyro Aumua Te'o, in January. "Welcome my little King," Jovi Nicole wrote alongside two photos from the hospital taken shortly after Kyro's birth. "We've all been waiting for you!" Baby Kyro joins the couple's daughter, Hiromi "Hiro" Te'o.


Leodis Andrellton Jackson

On Feb. 25, Keke Palmer and her boyfriend Darius Jackson's son, Leodis Andrellton Jackson, arrived. The new mom has been sharing her thoughts on motherhood since Leo's birth. "Mommy'ing is coming along if you were looking for an update," she wrote on Instagram in March. "I have juggled quite a few careers but this is my greatest gig of all. Learning how to balance it all and looking forward to discovering this new person I am becoming. I will never be the same again, but if you thought I was a bad mama jamma before, you can't imagine the greater purpose my son has given my life! It's giving, SUPER SAIYAN."

Kaley Cuoco and her boyfriend, Tom Pelphrey, welcomed their first child on March 30, and the happy couple introduced their daughter to the world via Instagram the next day. "Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives!" Cuoco captioned a carousel of photos featuring her baby girl. Bennett Llewellyn Kelce

NFL star Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie Kelce, welcomed their third daughter on Feb. 23. They named their little one Bennett Llewellyn Kelce, and she weighed in at 8 lbs. 5 oz. The couple announced their happy news in a joint Instagram post, writing, "Yesterday little lady #3 joined us. Bennett Llewellyn Kelce 8lbs. 5oz. and 21inches long." Bennett joins her big sisters, Elliotte Ray and Wyatt.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend surprised everyone on June 28 by revealing that their fourth child, a baby boy, was born via surrogate on June 19. The pair welcomed a daughter named Esti Maxine earlier in the year, who joined their older two children, daughter Luna and son Miles. They also lost a child named Jack at 20 weeks into Teigen's pregnancy in 2020.

"For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted four children," Teigen wrote in her Instagram announcement. "As a little girl, 2 glow worms and 2 cabbage patch dolls were perpetually in my arms, helping me stir in my pretend kitchen, watching 'Alf' with me." She continued, "After losing Jack, I didn't think I'd be able to carry any more babies on my own. To be honest, I've personally blocked out a lot of my mindset during that time, but one clear memory is being surrounded by people who wanted to make sure I wouldn't go through that pain and loss again."

"Ginny & Georgia" star Brianne Howey shared she'd welcomed her first child with husband Matt Ziering in a June 18 Instagram post. "My whole world just got a whole lot sweeter," she wrote in the caption. "And smaller. Welcome my little love." She and Ziering haven't yet revealed their child's name.

Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder's second child arrived sometime in early June, Reed shared in a June 29 Instagram Story. "A few weeks ago we welcomed our son on what can only be described as one of the most beautiful days of my life," Reed wrote in the post. "Born at home in water and surrounded by so much love, in an instant my heart doubled in size." The couple's first child, Bodhi, was born in 2017.


Sky Safir Cornish Colman

Jessie J revealed that she'd welcomed her first child, a baby boy, in a May 19 Instagram Story. "A week ago my whole life changed," she wrote. "My son entered this world and my heart grew twice the size. The feeling is indescribable. I am flying in love." In June, she confirmed his father is basketball player Chanan Safir Colman. "I can't keep secreetssssss with ALL AH DIS LOVEEEE INSIDE OF MEEEE 😭," she wrote in an Instagram reel. "Happy 1st 🇩🇰 Father's day baby."

Ireland Baldwin revealed that she had given birth to her first child, a baby girl, in a May 18 Instagram post. She shares the baby, whose name is Holland, with musician RAC (aka André Allen Anjos).

"What I'm most excited about is really more centered around a lot of things I really wanted in terms of stability as a child myself that I didn't have," Baldwin said in a January episode of the "Girlboss Radio" podcast. "What's kind of exciting is I get to raise this little human and do things completely differently than what I was taught was the norm. "Succession" star Sarah Snook revealed her first child was born while commemorating the series's finale on May 29. She shares the child, whose name hasn't yet been revealed, with husband Dave Lawson.

Rumer Willis and musician Derek Richard Thomas's first child arrived on April 18. "You are pure magic," the couple wrote in a joint Instagram post a week later. "Born at home on Tuesday April 18th You are more than we ever dreamed of ✨." In June, Willis revealed she broke her own water during her home birth during an interview on the "Informed Pregnancy" podcast.

The rapper, 49, welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with wife Jesseca "Judy" Harris-Dupart in Atlanta on July 6, People reported the following day. Da Brat, (née Shawntae Harris), announced her pregnancy in February a year after she and Harris-Dupart got married.

Of their baby's name, the pair told People, "His name had been True Legend Harris-Dupart but now that we've met him we are tempted to name him Perfect." Per People, though, the pair have stuck with True. Da Brat also raved about her son's arrival and added, "I can't believe he came out of me! Feels like a dream. He's perfect in every way. Very appreciative for such a blessing of our bundle of joy. This journey has been more amazing than we could've ever imagined."

They announced the news to Us Weekly in a July 19 article that revealed the first photos of the couple's daughter. According to Menounos, Athena's arrival followed a decade-long journey of infertility struggles, but she said motherhood so far has been "better than I could've ever imagined." "Athena is our miracle baby," the TV host told Us Weekly. "I'm so grateful for her."

On July 11, People reported that Naomi Osaka gave birth in Los Angeles to a baby girl, her first child with boyfriend Cordae. "They are doing well," a source told the publication of Osaka and her newborn daughter. The tiny tot's name has not yet been revealed but Osaka shared the first photo of her in a July 13 Instagram post (though her face isn't visible). "Well that was a cool little intermission, now back to your regularly scheduled program 🎾✌🏾💕," the athlete captioned the post. Osaka first announced her pregnancy in January just a week after withdrawing from the 2023 Australian Open.

In a clip shared on July 20 from her appearance on the "PRETTYSMART" podcast, Constance Wu revealed that she welcomed her second child — a boy — with her partner, Ryan Kattner. The pair already share a 2-year-old daughter.

On July 26, People reported that LaKeith Stanfield and his wife, Kasmere Trice, secretly tied the knot — and also welcomed their first child together. "We've manifested this beautiful family," Stanfield told the outlet. "I want to spend the rest of my life with [Trice]."

Trice also shared that she wants to keep her child's life private for the time being. "We decided early on we wanted to protect our baby as much as we can for as long as possible," she said. "Being in the public eye can be something that's amazing, but it can also be something that is very hard on you," Stanfield added. "There needs to be things that exist that are sacred and not for consumption for everybody."

On Aug. 21, Entertainment Tonight confirmed Riot's arrival, and in September, the proud parents shared the first photos of their newborn son with the world, per People.


Elijah Jude Kushner

Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner welcomed their second child, Elijah Jude, on July 11. Kloss announced the news on Instagram alongside a photo of her holding her baby's hand, writing, "Elijah Jude 7.11.23 💙." Baby Elijah joins their son Levi Joseph, who was born in 2021.

Though she didn't reveal his name, she said her son was at home "surrounded by so much love." The tiny tot joins the couple's daughter, Bodhi, who was born in 2017.

On Aug. 22, Serena Williams announced on TikTok that she and husband Alexis Ohanian welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Adira River Ohanian. Alongside a video of Williams cradling the newborn while sitting next to Ohanian and their daughter, Olympia, Williams wrote, "Welcome my beautiful angel."
