Euphoria Addresses Some Very Real Issues, but Not Without a Few Moments of Comic Relief
HBO's Euphoria tackles a number of serious subjects — addiction, race, identity, abuse, grief — and doesn't hold back in addressing them. The boundary-pushing show's unflinching look into the lives of high school students can become pretty heavy to watch. But amid the important (and very necessary) topic discussions, there are a few bits of comic relief, notably from lead character Rue Bennett (Zendaya). Her dark humor and charm make for some hilarious and refreshing moments for viewers, who are constantly reeling from all the emotional sequences. Ahead, check out five of the funniest scenes from season one.
