Highlights From the MTV VMAs 2015 — Another year, another absolutely wild night at the MTV Music Video Awards. The show took over LA on Sunday night, and there were scores of entertaining moments. On top of the incredible performances, there was plenty of drama, a good amount of shade, a few tears, and heaps and heaps of boundary-pushing fashion. Whether you missed the show or just want to get a mini refresher before you hash it out with your friends, keep reading for the night's biggest highlights.

Let's start out where we always start: the red carpet! See all the celebrities who strutted their way to the show and all the outfits and dresses that took our breath away.
We have to shine a spotlight on Taylor Swift's glammed-up squad, of course. Taylor's makeup was on point, and her outfit was a pleasant surprise.
It doesn't stop there, though! There was also Gigi Hadid's superintense tan, the eternally stunning Selena Gomez, and more.
Come on, you knew we were going to talk about the Kardashian-Jenners. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West definitely caught plenty of eyes, while Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian looked twice as nice. Kylie even debuted her new bangs!

Some stars weren't afraid to get sexy. A few examples include Nicki Minaj's naked dress, Miley Cyrus's impending nip slip, and FKA Twigs's insane getup.
We know, you want to zoom in on Miley's hair. And all of her crazy outfits from the night. We get it.
Talk about a cute couple! Bella Thorne and Gregg Sulkin were so cute, we couldn't handle it.
Other highlights: Justin Bieber's interesting hair decision and the one, the only, the fierce, Britney Spears.

And then, just like that, the show started. Nicki Minaj opened the show and welcomed Taylor Swift to the stage. Looks like they really squashed that beef. They even had matching outfits!
Let's not forget that Nick Jonas really got us turnt with his "Levels" performance. Late-coming Summer jam, anyone?!
Meanwhile, Demi Lovato was shutting it down with "Cool For the Summer" on another stage.
We saw something we've never seen before: Kanye West dancing like no one was watching. You know what caused it? The Weeknd's "I Can't Feel My Face" performance, of course.

It wouldn't be the VMAs without a little drama. Kanye West pretended to nap when Taylor Swift won best female video.
Nicki Minaj called out Miley Cyrus during her acceptance speech. It was tense, to say the least.
After bringing down the house with his new song, Justin Bieber kind of sort of cried on stage in front of everyone.
Taylor Swift presented Kanye West with his Video Vanguard Award, bringing their whole VMAs thing full circle.
Here's the thing, though: Kanye West didn't perform. Instead, he announced his intention to run for president in a very long, very bizarre speech.

Forget the drama, though. There was plenty of love to go around, too. Look at Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez's sweet night together.
Kim Kardashian and Chrissy Teigen looked pretty cozy. Witness their hilariously disastrous selfie moment.
To wrap up, Miley Cyrus performed a new song and dropped a free new album, and the Internet was ablaze with hilarious reactions to the show.
