2017 Is Looking Much Better Thanks to These New (and Rekindled) Celebrity Couples
Last year was a disastrous year for love in Hollywood, but luckily, 2017 looked a lot better thanks to a select number of celebrity couples who have decided to give love a shot. Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have not been shy about flaunting their rekindled romance ever since they got back together in January, while Lady Gaga and fiancé Christian Carino have been keeping a low profile. Shay Mitchell and Amy Poehler, on the other hand, both have yet to publicly step out with their new boyfriends, but we're holding out hope that they do so soon.
Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson
Rumors of a romance between Chris and Dakota have been swirling for quite some time now, but it wasn't until December that Us Weekly confirmed the rumors. According to a source, Dakota and Chris are "definitely dating" and have "gotten to know each other really well and are very comfortable from one another." Chris even "sends Dakota his music to get her opinion" and "it's more than just a fling." Dakota was last linked to Jon Hamm, while Chris previously romanced Jennifer Lawrence and was married to Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he has two kids, 13-year-old daughter Apple and 11-year-old son Moses.
Brad Pitt and Sienna Miller
Brad appeared to finally be ready to move on from his split from Angelina when rumors swirled that he was dating the actress, who starred in his 2016 film, The Lost City of Z, in July. According to Us Weekly, Brad and Sienna have "been spending some time together." "He's hanging out with friends and those friends are bringing him out to meet other people," a source told the publication. While both parties have yet to confirm the new relationship, it's also worth noting that they linked up again in June at England's Glastonbury Festival with pal Bradley Cooper.
Lady Gaga and Christian Carino
While many fans were holding out hope that Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney would reconcile, their dreams were shattered when news broke that the "Million Reasons" singer began dating her Creative Artists Agency agent in February. The report came just a few days after the two were spotted kissing at the Super Bowl in Houston, where Lady Gaga blew everyone away with her halftime performance. In November, it was reported that the singer got engaged to the talent agent over the Summer after he asked Gaga's dad for her hand in marriage.
Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus

While their relationship seemed fairly new at first, Us Weekly reports that Ben has actually been seeing Lindsay on and off since 2015, when he was still married to Jennifer Garner and she was married to former SNL colleague Kevin Miller. "Ben and Lindsay started their affair in 2015. They were not casually dating — they were having a full-blown affair," a source told the publication. In late May, Lorena was photographed hanging out with Leo and his friends in Monaco, though his rep denied the rumors, insisting they were "not dating."
